2017 BBQ Cook off Scholarship Awards
Six scholarships of $2000 each were awarded to local high school seniors.

"Every spring we hold a State Championship BBQ cook off at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds to raise money for scholarships for graduating seniors. We had a great cook off this year and were able to provide $12,000 in scholarships. We congratulate these seniors, and wish them the best in all of their endeavors" Augustine Rangel, Master of Rosenberg Lodge.

Community Builder Award

Every year Rosenberg Masonic Lodge awards a Community Builder Award to an outstanding, non-mason who has distinguished themselves through their service to the community, the local, state, or national government, their place of worship, their school, or to humanity. This year they recognized Creighton Jaster, Principal of Lamar Jr. High School.

"Mr. Jaster is doing an outstanding job at Lamar Jr. High. He is getting the kids involved with their community through various service projects. His implementation of the Ron Clark Academy to the school has transformed the way the students and staff interact with one another and their community.
